That is the phrase we use most often internally. The focus on operating partnership is what has defined our firm since inception, and it is the posture we hold today. About 60% of our work is ongoing, retainer-based operations — we run client businesses day-to-day, with named account leadership, weekly written reporting, and quarterly executive review against agreed OKRs.
The remaining 40% is fixed-scope delivery: software builds, content production, audits, migrations. These are typically 8–16 week engagements that convert to retainers at completion — or hand off cleanly with documentation, runbooks, and training. The transition is built into how we contract.
We are not the right firm for every engagement. We do not pitch what we cannot do well. We do not offshore junior work to anonymous desks. We do not run engagements without a named Partner in the kickoff.

Every Digital Rabbit engagement has a named Partner in the kickoff and a named Delivery Lead running the work. These are not figureheads — they are the people in the weekly status, the monthly invoice, and the post-mortem when something goes wrong.
Every engagement has a written operating plan, a defined OKR set, and a weekly written status. Reporting is structured, calendarized, and the same format regardless of client. We do not produce bespoke slide decks; we produce the same report every week, with the numbers moving.
We operate under strict data protection protocols and NDA-ready guidelines. NDAs and DPAs are standard pre-engagement. Source code escrow and IP assignment are available. Quarterly access reviews and security audits are table stakes.
When a target is missed, the post-mortem and the revised plan are presented in the same meeting, not at the next one. The trust that makes a multi-year operating partnership work is built by how the firm behaves when things go wrong, not when they go right.
